Our Hygienists
Our Dental Hygienists, Maria, Colleen, and Christine have combined experience of 75 years! They are highly skilled and trained as well they play an important role in your overall dental health. With their gentle approach, they will listen to your concerns, and will help you develop and maintain a good oral health routine.
Christine
Christine’s dental career began when she joined the Dunsmuir Dental Team in 2001. She was a Certified Dental Assistant for seven years before obtaining a Diploma in Dental Hygiene Program from VCC and has enjoyed helping patients achieve and maitain optimum oral health. She strives to provide exceptional care that is gentle, attentive and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Jolie
Jolie was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, and attended George Brown College, where she earned an honors diploma in Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene. With over 20 years of experience at Coastal City Dunsmuir Dental, Jolie has established herself as a dedicated professional in the field. After a brief time away, she has returned to continue her commitment to delivering high-quality care.
As a lifelong learner, Jolie constantly strives to provide gentle and thorough care to her patients. She is passionate about patient education, recognizing that achieving optimal dental and overall health is a team effort between the staff and patients.
Tianna
Tianna is a Vancouver Community College graduate with a passion for patient-centred care. She is committed to providing gentle, compassionate treatment, with a special focus on supporting patients who experience dental anxiety. Tianna enjoys empowering patients with practical oral health recommendations to help them achieve their goals.
In her time off, she enjoys reading a good book, cooking delicious meals, and summer camping trips with her family.

Our Patient Care Assistants at Coastal City Dunsmuir Dental go above and beyond in providing assistance, not only to the Dentists, but as well to the patients. They also have extensive training in orthodontics, crown and bridge preparations, and implants. Tais will listen to your dental concerns, and put you at ease during your treatment.
